Marisa Kuropatkin, MS, LMHC, LPC
Marisa Kuropatkin is an experienced Mental Health Counselor with a demonstrated history of working in the individual and family services industry. Marisa has extensive clinical and supervisory experience in the field of grief and loss. Marisa received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University and is now a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. Marisa has over 15 years experience working with children and adults in various therapeutic settings.

Over the past decade, Marisa has been involved in the planning and implementation of the bereavement programs including the supervision of crisis team and management of a children’s bereavement program. Marisa has been actively involved in delivering professional development workshops to agencies throughout Rockland County on the application of grief and crisis interventions.

Marisa utilizes a variety of treatment modalities, which best suite the needs of her clients, in order to reach their treatment goals. Marisa’s empathy, knowledge and experience allows the client to feel supported as they work to achieve their goals and reach their fullest potential.
